Doors
Design Shelter offers several options and combinations for door entryways to each of our MH and MLH series shelters. One double door is most commonly supplied with MH series shelters and two doors, one at each end, are most commonly supplied with our MLH series.
STANDARD DOOR STYLES INCLUDE RIGID FRAMED HINGED AND LATCHED DOORS. FOR THIS DOOR TYPE THREE OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE:
Single Width
Our single width non folding door measures 58 cm (23”) wide and is ample for human traffic.
Double Width
Our double width folding door measuring 117 cm (46″) wide opens in a similar manner to a French door. It is ideal for applications where carrying supplies in and out of the shelter is frequent, and for situations where maintenance on snow mobiles or ATV’s is required. The double wide door will support the entry of any vehicle up to 117 cm (46”) wide and 178 cm (70”) tall. Barn Style French
Our barn style French doors are available for wider vehicles up to a maximum of 203 cm (80”) wide. Design Shelter’s barn style French doors fold in half with vertical hinge for ease of transport and storage.
