Toilets

Similar to all Habitat portable shelters, our lavatory system features an articulated aluminum mainframe, snap lock eave and base bars and Velcro fastened cover system. Standard lavatory shelters provide zippered door entries, while optional integrated aluminum framed doors are available. The exterior cover is the same durable vinyl coated polyester fabric used with all of our shelters. Standard opaque vinyl skylight panels in the roof lend an open atmosphere to the inside of the lavatory shelter.

The Design Shelter lavatory is a single stall, field toilet shelter. It is quickly and easily assembled in the field without tools and provides full privacy for the user. The interior floor and cabinet is a one-piece formed aluminum plate assembly that folds flat for storage or transport. A collapsible Coroplast containment box is lined with disposable poly-bags for disposal of human waste and is compatible with commercially available human waste gelling agents.

Optional toilet versions are available including flush style, waste-incinerating solutions as well as “Pacto” brand portable toilet boxes.

Design Shelter lavatories are also available in a double stall version.
