Listening to soldiers and discussing their shelter requirements has been imperative for Design Shelter. Numerous participations in field exercises have allowed Design Shelter to develop a series of shelter and accessory features that are important for the men and women protecting our freedom.

As a result of this significant exchange of ideas, DSI has developed an independent series of shelters called the MH and MLH which now forms the base shelter design. Based on the exceptional standard designs of the original H and LH series shelters, DSI has incorporated more than 30 significant ideas and functional enhancements to create a design that most appeals to the war fighter.

The MH and MLH series shelter offers all of the very same features and benefits of our standard H and LH series designs, but goes a step further to satisfy soldier needs in theatre and to meet the technical requirements of MILSTD 310G. The result is a shelter and portfolio of support products that meets and surpasses the needs of soldiers.  We realize that each mission is different and that flexibility is the key for the modern warfighter.  Design Shelter MH and MLH shelters exceed soldier expectations for performance and functionality.

No mission or task at hand is beyond the capabilities of DSI’s MH and MLH series shelters.  Camp or HQ is still set up in expeditionary timeframes and soldiers have repeatedly stated that the DSI kit offers an outstanding interior working environment.

The DSI MH and MLH series shelters have also proven to offer superior performance at extreme cold temperatures.  Stable in high winds and strong under snow loads, DSI’s MH and MLH series shelters stand the test of experience and performance in very difficult weather conditions.
