Water Distribution Kits

Design Shelter field water distribution kits are designed to support our client’s field water system strategy which can include shower and toilet kit facilities as well as gang sinks and hot and cold water distribution.

All fittings are based on standard garden hose thread connections, and connectors are offered in military style for extra robustness and reliability in the field.  All flexible hose is clearly colour coded and connectors are unique for each type of water handling application so that mistakes can be avoided in the field.  For example, blue hose for cold potable water, red for hot potable water, grey for grey water and black for black water.

A number of different kits are offered to coincide with the size of the camp and camp layout.  Each water support kit is enclosed in a rugged aluminum field case.  Design Shelter water kits are designed to provide our clients with an appropriate number of parts and standard plumbing supplies to correctly configure the camp water system.

Optional heat tracer lines and flexible hose are also available for severe cold weather applications.
